Massive Erlang/Elixir Concurrency

Our backend architecture utilizes Elixir on the battle-tested Erlang VM (BEAM). Instead of threading, every single user connection is spawned as an isolated, lightweight process. This allows us to handle millions of simultaneous, persistent WebSocket connections across our global cluster with sub-millisecond routing latency.

Instant Multi-Device Sync

Because we don't rely on polling, state changes are pushed instantly. When you read a message on your phone, a 'read receipt' packet is routed through our cluster to your desktop client in less time than it takes to blink, keeping your unread badges perfectly synchronized everywhere.

Secure Offline Queuing

If your recipient's phone is turned off, their messages aren't lost. The encrypted payload is temporarily queued in our in-memory database. The absolute millisecond they reconnect, the queue is flushed to their device and immediately wiped from our servers forever.

Rich Media & Attachments

Messages aren't just text. We support transferring raw, uncompressed 4K images, 1080p video, and large documents. Files are encrypted on-device before being split into chunks and uploaded to our ephemeral CDN, ensuring blazing fast downloads for the receiver.
